BAFTA Film Awards 2019: The Favourite leads with 12 nominations

A Star is Born and Bohemian Rhapsody score seven nominations each.

The nominations were announced this morning for the EE British Academy Film Awards 2019.

Hayley Squires and Will Poulter revealed the nominations at BAFTA’s London headquarters. The Favourite, starring Olivia Colman, led the pack with nominations in 12 categories.

Bohemian Rhapsody, First Man, Roma and A Star Is Born each picked up seven nominations; Vice has six, BlacKkKlansman has five, and Cold War and Green Book have four each.

Can You Ever Forgive Me?, Mary Poppins Returns, Mary Queen of Scots and Stan & Ollie have three nominations each.

The EE British Academy Film Awards will take place on Sunday 10th February at the Royal Albert Hall, London. The ceremony will be hosted by Joanna Lumley and will be broadcast exclusively on BBC One and BBC One HD.
