The Legends were in search of a killer puppet on the latest episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

They travelled to New Orleans in 1856 with Sara (Caity Lotz), Ava (Jes Macallan), Ray (Brandon Routh) and Mick (Dominic Purcell) leading the charge to find it. They hunted down the serial killer but his consciousness was transferred into the Martin Stein puppet.

He then stalked the team on the Waverider and Mick was forced to come to Ava’s rescue, allowing the two to finally find common ground after Sara’s efforts to help them get along failed.

Meanwhile Constantine (Matt Ryan) faced up to a painful memory tied to New Orleans that involved his former lover Desmond (Christian Keyes). Constantine had made a deal with a demon called Neron, which resulted in Desmond being sentenced to hell.

Breaking a big rule, Constantine travelled back to 2018 to change history and save Desmond’s life. That decision caused a ripple effect which froze the Legends on the Waverider, unlocked Charlie’s (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) shapeshifting abilities and turned Zari (Tala Ashe) into a cat.

The mid-season finale is Legends of To-Meow-Meow. After Constantine breaks the cardinal Legend rule, he, Charlie and Zari try to deal with the ramifications without telling anyone else.
