The Greatest Dancer begins on BBC One in January

The premiere of The Greatest Dancer, BBC One’s new Saturday night entertainment show, will take place at 8pm on 5th January 2019.

Cheryl, Matthew Morrison and Oti Mabuse will form the panel and there’s a Ā£50,000 prize at stake as well as the chance to perform as a special guest on the next series of Strictly Come Dancing.

The Greatest Dancer promises to be one of the most inclusive, diverse and unique dance competitions around. It will welcome individual dancers, duos and groups, from the ages of 7 to 70+ in any dance discipline.

The series will be presented by former Strictly Come Dancing champion Alesha Dixon and Diversityā€™s Jordan Banjo.

The first episode of The Greatest Dancer will air on BBC One at 8pm on Saturday 5th January 2019.
