UK-based Americana duo O&O have released their reflective new single Rolling On as they wrap up a successful 2018.
The track is an acoustic-led number that’s taken from the duo’s debut EP Truth Comes Out. You can take a listen to it below:
Discussing the track Orian & Obadiah said: “This song is about striving for something, or working towards a goal in life, and persisting through setbacks, self-doubt and the passing of time. We wrote this song from our perspective as artists striving for success in the music industry, with all the challenges that entails. Musically, the waltz feel has a natural rolling quality to it that we thought fit well with the lyrical theme. We had the opportunity to work with an incredible pedal-steel player, Scott Poley, who added his magic to both Rolling On and Truth Comes Out.”
O&O have had a busy year playing at C2C: Country to Country in March followed by appearances at Cambridge Folk, Wood Festival, Buckle & Boots, the inaugural Black Deer Festival and more recently the London Roots Festival.
