Strictly Come Dancing judge Bruno Tonioli will release his new DVD Bruno’s Bellissimo Blackpool on Monday 19th November 2018.
The release follows the series’ annual trip to Blackpool, which takes place live this weekend. Bruno’s Bellissimo Blackpool was commissioned by BBC Studios and it celebrates Strictly’s rich history with Blackpool and features some of the most memorable performances from Blackpool Tower.
Bruno Tonioli says, “Coming to Blackpool and seeing the dancers perform to their absolute best is always one of the highlights of the series for me. Strictly has seen some of its most magical moments within the walls of the Blackpool Tower Ballroom, and what better way to celebrate this fantastic heritage than with a compilation of the best and most hilarious moments!”
The Blackpool Tower Ballroom has been the home of dance for over 100 years, with over 300 dancers still gracing the ballroom floor every week. It is considered the pinnacle for British ballroom dancing.
Bruno’s Bellissimo Blackpool features Harry Judd and Aliona Vilani’s stunning Argentine Tango, Rob Rinder and Oksana’s sensational Spice Up Your Life, and Ed Balls lighting up the ballroom with Katya Jones and their Great Balls Of Fire.
Simon Webbe and Kristina put on a powerful performance with their El Tango de Roxanne, and Ore Oduba and Joanna Clifton score the perfect ten in their Viennese Waltz.
The DVD also celebrates the group routines that are always a highlight of the Blackpool show.
