Strictly Come Dancing 2018’s week 1 dances showed that this year’s crop of celebs have plenty of talent among them.

We’re struggling to think of a stronger first week and with scores almost reaching 30, the standard is already very high. For the first week there were a lot of different dance styles making the lengthy show very interesting to watch.

From YouTube star Joe Suggs’ impressive Jive to Susannah Constantine’s tongue-in-cheek Samba, there wasn’t a dull moment and as always, it’s impossible to predict who the competition’s frontrunners are.

You can read our week 1 recap and see all of the action from last night’s show in our gallery.
