Brett Young releases latest single Here Tonight

Country star Brett Young has released his new single, Here Tonight.

The song is the first track taken from Young’s upcoming second album, Ticket To L.A., which is due for release on 7th December on BMLG Records and available for pre-order now. It’s a laid-back, romantic tune with a singalong chorus which shows off Young’s soulful vocals to perfection.

“‘Here Tonight’ is about those moments, if you’re lucky enough to have them in your life, that are so good that you wish they could last forever,” Young says.

Young wrote Here Tonight with Ben Caver, Justin Ebach and Charles Kelley of Lady Antebellum. It follows his four previous platinum-certified number 1 hits – Sleep Without You, In Case You Didn’t Know (certified 3x platinum), Like I Love You and Mercy.

“It’s very light – intentionally – and sonically it’s very upbeat,” Young explains of the song. “That doesn’t exist as much on the first album, so I wanted to showcase a bit more versatility this time around. I think it’s the perfect way to cap off the summer.”

Ticket To L.A. will reunite Young with producer Dan Huff, who’s also worked with Keith Urban and Faith Hill. It features 13 brand new tracks, 10 of which were co-written by Young.

Currently nominated for the CMA Awards New Artist of the Year, Young has been building a dedicated fanbase on both sides of the Atlantic since releasing his self-titled debut album in 2016. His videos have racked over 300 million views – including 200 million for In Case You Didn’t Know – and he also won the ACM Award for New Male Vocalist of the Year earlier this year.

Following his sell-out Caliville headline tour and two sets at this year’s C2C Festival, Young is currently out on the road supporting Thomas Rhett on the Life Changes Tour. This autumn, he’ll headline this year’s CMT On Tour – dubbed Brett Young’s Here Tonight Tour – which kicks off in Royal Oak, Michigan on 16th November.
