Jimmie Allen to support Chase Rice on UK tour

Rising country artist Jimmie Allen has announced that he’ll support his BBR Music Group labelmate Chase Rice on his UK tour this October.

The four-date run kicks off at London’s Bush Hall on 23rd October and finishes in Birmingham on the 27th. Allen will also be playing a second show at Bush Hall on 28th October, as part of Country Music Week’s Bluebird Café sessions.

Jimmie says: “As an fan of international music, I’m really looking forward to my first trip to the UK. It’s going to be a great adventure taking in the musical culture of a country I admire as well as sharing my music with their listeners. It shall be the beginning of a life long connection. See ya real soon!”

Last week, Allen released Slower Lower, the title track from his Slower Lower Sessions. The midtempo, summery song sees Allen celebrating the laid-back lifestyle of the area where he grew up and shows off the soulfulness and depth to his voice. It’s available to stream and download now.

Originally from Southern Delaware, Allen’s songwriting talent first came to the fore when a track he wrote was featured in a Super Bowl commercial. He released his first EP, produced by Ash Bowers and Eric Torres, on BBR Music Group’s Stoney Creek Records last October and quickly won praise for his mix of country, rock, R&B and pop.

Allen’s song Blue Jean Baby reached number 8 on Spotify’s Viral Top 50 chart and was featured on Spotify’s Wild Country Playlist. He’s also been named as one to watch by the likes of Rolling Stone, Billboard, Pandora and Sounds Like Nashville and was featured in CMT’s “18 for 2018” Listen Up program and US country DJ Bobby Bones’ Class of 2018.

This summer Allen is out on the road at festivals across the USA. He’ll perform alongside artists including Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line, Kane Brown and Toby Keith.
