Claire Richards is wasting no time with her solo venture as she announces four live shows in support of her forthcoming debut album My Wildest Dreams.
The singer’s first ever solo tour will take place in December taking in dates in Glasgow, Birmingham, Liverpool and London. Fans who have pre-order My Wildest Dreams can get pre-sale tickets on Thursday 16th August and general on-sale starts at 10am on 17th August.
Commenting on the tour Claire says, “I can’t actually believe I’m going out on my first ever solo tour – making the My Wildest Dreams album has been such an incredible experience and every song means something very special to me. I can’t wait to head out on the road and share them with everyone!”
Last week Claire announced the release of her debut single On My Own and premiered the music video, which was shot in Dungeness on the coast of Kent, and directed by Phil Griffin (Amy Winehouse, Girls Aloud and more).
My Wildest Dreams shot to the number 1 spot on the iTunes pre-order chart last week. The album will be released while Steps are on a short hiatus following a summer of touring. The band have promised they will be back in 2019.
