Will Young to headline Quaglino’s Q Decades closing party

Will Young will headline the closing party of the Q Decades summer series at Quaglino’s on Thursday 30th August.

The performance will bring to an end a series of shows that have taken Quaglino’s guests on a musical journey to celebrate the iconic music and legendary stars from some of the best-loved eras.

Fans can expect Young, who won the inaugural series of Pop Idol in 2002, to perform his biggest hits such as Leave Right Now, All Time Love and Jealousy and fan-favourite jazz covers. Over his career Young has achieved several multi-platinum albums and sold-out numerous live tours.

His debut single Evergreen was the biggest-selling single of its decade.

The Q Decades series kicked off on 1st July with Jocelyn Brown. The series has honoured the likes of Buddy Holly, The Rat Pack, Aretha Franklin and Lionel Richie.

Leslie Kwarteng, Senior General Manager at Quaglinoā€™s, ā€‹says: ā€œWe are all thrilled to have Will on board to perform at the Q Decades closing party this year. An artist whose talent will stand the test of time, we canā€™t think of a better performer to bring the spirit of the last decade to Quaglinoā€™s, and weā€™re expecting the evening to be an explosive end to what has been another incredible summer of music at the venue.ā€

Throughout the series, guests can enjoy live performances from the comfort of their seats, with delicious dining and a bespoke Q Decades Wine List, celebrating some of the most popular wines enjoyed at Quaglinoā€™s since it opened.
