Nashville 6×11 No Place That Far preview

Gunnar (Sam Palladio) and Avery (Jonathan Jackson) attempted to smooth things over in the latest episode of Nashville.

Following their fight over Alannah (Rainee Blake), where Avery swore nothing was going on between them, the old friends seemingly kissed and made up. Gunnar continued to pursue Alannah but she made it clear that she wasn’t really feeling their relationship.

After rebuffing his attempts to take their relationship forward, Alannah took herself off to Avery’s once again and this time the two of them did kiss. They carried on their canoodling as they made their way to a show and Gunnar spotted them walking past.

Full of rage, Gunnar stormed off stage mid-performance and Alannah told Avery that she wanted to be with him, regardless of the consequences. She also took a meeting with Brad Maitland (Jeffrey Nordling) about a solo deal where he offered her a lot of money.

Meanwhile Daphne (Maisy Stella) got stuck into Brad’s singing competition and he pushed her to write a song about Rayna (Connie Britton). Deacon (Charles Esten) watched uncomfortably while Brad questioned Daphne about her mother and Daphne made it through to the next round of the competition.

Elsewhere in the episode Sean (Jake Etheridge) kissed Scarlett (Clare Bowen) after performing at an open mic, and Jesse (Kaitlin Doubleday) decided she couldn’t fight Brad for custody any longer if it meant using their son to win.

The next episode of the season is No Place That Far. Juliette discovers that Darius Enright’s movement is not the happy utopia that it seemed to be.
