Guitar maestro Duane Eddy will be heading to the UK this October for three shows in the UK.
The musician rarely performs outside the US so this will be a rare chance for fans to see him and mark his 80th birthday. The shows will take place in London, Glasgow and Manchester, with the London show included as part of the second annual Country Music Week.

Eddy is one of the original guitar heroes who helped shape rock ‘n’ roll with his instrumental pieces in the late 50s and early 60s. His music is infused with elements of country, blues, jazz and gospel.
One of the most successful instrumentalist in rock history, Eddy has scored 15 top 40 singles from 1958 through 1963. Hits over his career include Rebel Rouser, Peter Gunn, Because Theyāre Young, Shazam and (Dance With The) Guitar Man.
Eddy has sold more than 100 million records worldwide and he’s picked up awards including a Grammy for Best Rock Instrumental, the Lifetime Achievement Award for Instrumentalist from The Americana Music Association and he was inducted into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1994.

Tuesday 23rd October – London Palladium
Sunday 28th October – Glasgow Kingās Theatre
Tuesday 30th October – Manchester Bridgewater Hall
