What will Adam Lambert’s fourth studio album sound like?
During his Wonderland interview, Lambert revealed that he was trying to be ‘authentic and real’ producing ‘something that felt natural’. He talked about wanting to ‘stay in (his) own truth’ and not getting lost by chasing the sound of the moment.
Recently Lambert did a cover shoot for Attitude Magazine and he revealed a few more details about the record. As well as saying he’s been inspired by his long-running partnership with Queen, Lambert explained that he didn’t ‘think this album is genre-specific’ going on to say, “I think there are a lot of different influences on it. Thereās rock, thereās FUNK, thereās soul, thereās disco, Seventies singer-songwriter pop and some Eighties flavours, too. That being said, there are a lot of modern influences as well, so itās sort of a fusion.ā

During a Q&A on Twitter back in February, Lambert told fans he’d recorded around 35 tracks so far and said the album was sounding ‘yummy’.
