Games with Gold for April gave a decent selection of free games for Xbox Live Gold members. Our picks of the bunch were The Witness and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
On Xbox One in May, Xbox Live Gold members can download Super Mega Baseball 2 all month. Then, from May 16th – June 15th, Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain will also be available.
On Xbox 360 (and Xbox One via Backward Compatibility) players can download a copy of Streets of Rage from May 1st until May 15th. This will then be switched to the fantastic Vanquish for the remainder of the month.

If you don’t own both an Xbox 360 and Xbox One you can still add all the games to your Xbox Live account.
Also, remember that even if you own a physical copy of the games on offer it’s still worth grabbing the free digital copy as you will then no longer need the disc to play. You could then pass your physical copy on to a friend or trade it in.
