The Saviors started on their way to the Hilltop as they attempted to hunt the rest of the Alexandrians on the latest episode of The Walking Dead.
Dwight (Austin Amelio) found that some of the group still didn’t trust him as he tried to affirm his loyalty to them. Tara (Alanna Masterson) was almost overcome with her personal grief towards Dwight but when he distracted the Saviors so the group could get to safety, she realised that he really was on their side.
Meanwhile Eugene (Josh McDermitt) helped the Saviors craft bullets and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) came up with a plan to taint their weapons with walker blood.

Elsewhere Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) and Dr. Carson (R. Keith Harris) tried to escape from the Saviors but they were recaptured. Dr. Carson was killed and a nearly blind Gabriel was taken back to Negan.
The next episode of the season is The Key. Hilltop’s leadership faces a difficult dilemma after the arrival of unexpected visitors. Meanwhile, Rick comes face to face with an adversary.
