What really happened to Quinn (Katie Lowes) was revealed on the latest episode of Scandal.
It turns out that Quinn wasn’t killed by Rowan (Joe Morton) as everyone had thought. Although Rowan did kidnap her, he held her in his basement and planned to use her as a bargaining chip against Olivia (Kerry Washington).
During her ordeal Quinn hallucinated her friends and colleagues, and she delivered her baby in Rowan’s basement. Quinn also heard Olivia choosing her own power over saving her life, making her realise just how dark her former mentor had gone.

The next episode of the season is The People v Olivia Pope. In an episode directed by Kerry Washington, Olivia is shocked when her closest friends stage an intervention.
