Hit the North festival reveals 2018 line-up

Hit The North festival will be back in 2018 for its second year running. The Northern festival, which takes place in Newcastle will celebrate music from up North. This year’s headliners include, The Horrors, Marmozets, British Sea Power and Tom Grennan. Returning in 2017 with their fifth album, V,The Horrors are stronger than ever and a perfect fit for this year’s Hit the North festival.

Festival Promoter Steve Davis commented: “We’re thrilled to release the line up to the public and celebrate our second year of Hit the North. We have high hopes for the event and this years line up shows a great progression from 2017.’

2018’s focus for Hit the North is on new music, whether that’s from established bands with new releases, or from brand new artists just stepping out into the world. 2018 will see the second edition of the festival take place. The festival will runs from 4th to 6th May across 15 Newcastle venues and will feature over 120 artists.

Individual tickets for Hit the North (Sunday 6th May) are available for £30.00. Please note that unlike 2017, an individual ticket for Hit the North (Sunday 6th May) does not grant customers entry to Meet The North Festival (Saturday 5th May). Tickets must be purchased separately or together as part of a festival bundle.
