Thirdstory reveal new track Hit the Ceiling

The song is the third to be lifted from their forthcoming album Cold Heart.

Thirdstory have released a new track from titled Hit the Ceiling.

The song is the third to be lifted from their upcoming album Cold Heart, which is due for release via Virgin EMI on 9th March 2018. The soulful track has a laid back groove with rich vocals and harmonies laid over the top.

For the parent album Cold Heart, Thirdstory have worked with producer Malay (Frank Ocean, Zayn), who executive-produces the set. The album blends Thirdstory’s signature soulful harmonies with hard-hitting lyrics and R&B influences.

The album is the group’s first release single their 2017 3-track EP Searching, which has had more than 6 million streams on Spotify.

A month ago Thirdstory released a video for the acoustic version of their track Still in Love with Eryn Allen Kane. The track showcases the band’s incredible vocal harmonies, which complement the smoky jazz-tinged tone of Kane’s distinctive voice.

In the spring Thirdstory are heading out on the road for a headline US tour. The jaunt will begin at the Crescent Ballroom in Phoenix, Arizona on 20th March and take in stops in major US cities. Things wind up at The Parish in LA on 20th April.

Thirdstory is Ben Lusher, Richard Saunders, and Elliott Skinner. In 2015 they began posting covers and YouTube and have since racked up millions of views and built an impressive fan base.
