Bailey (Chandra Wilson) had a heart attack on the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy but no one believed her.
Following a row with Ben (Jason George), Bailey checked herself in at Seattle Presbyterian. She was met with scepticism and condescension when she told them she was having a heart attack and refused to leave until she is correctly diagnosed and treated.
Bailey called Maggie (Kelly McCreary) to help her, unaware that Richard (James Pickens Jr.) had figured out where she was. As Bailey’s diagnosis proved correct and her life flashed before her eyes, she reflected on her upbringing and the difficult relationship she has with her mother.

Before she went in for emergency surgery, Bailey finally gave in and asked Maggie to call Ben. He arrived before she woke up and told Bailey that he’s quit his new job as a firefighter.
Surprisingly Bailey demanded that he go back, encouraging him to do what he truly loves. She also called her mother to tell her about her health scare.
The next episode of the season is Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. April is in charge of the new Grey Sloan Surgical Innovation Contest, and the doctors are eager to start their projects.
