The best intentions often come back to haunt you. Mission: Impossible – Fallout finds Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his IMF team (Alec Baldwin, Simon Pegg, Ving Rhames) along with some familiar allies (Rebecca Ferguson, Michelle Monaghan) in a race against time after a mission gone wrong.

Superman himself, Henry Cavill, Angela Bassett, and Vanessa Kirby also join the dynamic cast with filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie returning to the helm.

The new trailer is jam-packed full of exciting new footage and once again features Tom Cruise doing what he does best – amazing audiences.

There are numerous stunts in the trailer that look stunning. Tom Cruise recently injured himself whilst attempting a building to building rooftop jump in London, but that fades in comparison to some to the feats we see attempted in this new Mission Impossible footage.

The film poster and the trailer hinges on what looks like two incredible stunts involving a helicopter and Cruise dangling off a rope. Knowing that none of these stunts are done using CGI makes this all the more incredible.

Henry Cavill, playing what looks to be the main bad guy, has kept his Man of Steel heft for some bone-crunching fist fights too. We can’t wait to see him go toe-to-toe with Tom Cruise onscreen.

The appearence of many familar faces from the franchise should prove to be a masterstroke for this sixth chapter in the Mission: Impossible legacy.
