The latest episode of Scandal was all about Fitz (Tony Goldwyn) and it showed us what he’s been up to since Mellie (Bellamy Young) took over as President.

After sacking all of his staff at his house in Vermont, Fitz clashed with Marcus (Cornelius Smith Jr.) who had become frustrated with the person he’d become since working in the White House. The two tried to get Fitz’s Presidential Library off the ground but Marcus’ questions about how Olivia (Kerry Washington) should be featured didn’t go down too well.

Marcus credited Olivia with all of Fitz’s achievements leading to a fist fight between the two. Determined to quit, Marcus called Mellie who talked him down and he returned to Fitz’s side.

Fitz meanwhile was visited by Rowan (Joe Morton) who appealed to him to help save Olivia from herself. Initially sceptical, Fitz decided to pay Olivia a visit and was shocked to see her come out of a lift making out with Curtis (Jay Hernandez).

The next episode of the season is Lost Girls. With Olivia busy in the White House, the team at QPA works with a surprising client on a case. President Mellie prepares for the Nuclear Summit.
