Musical theatre star Rachel Tucker will perform her biggest solo headline show to date in November at Shoreditch Town Hall.
Taking place on 17th November 2017, the show will see Tucker perform with a nine-piece band. She will also perform with a choir of fifty up and coming child stars from the Stagebox Musical Theatre Choir.
MD Kris Rawlinson will lead the show as Tucker showcases some of the musical theatre classics she’s become known for. She will also perform new material from her On the Road Sessions and her husband Guy Retallack will direct the show.
Rising to fame as a finalist on BBC One show I’d Do Anything, Tucker enjoyed a nine month run on Broadway as Elphaba in Wicked. More recently she reprised the role in the West End as part of the record-breaking show’s 10th anniversary cast.
In her career to date Tucker created the role of Meg Dawson on Broadway in rock icon Stingās musicals Last Ship, which was lauded as one of New York Times top ten performances of 2014.
