Grey’s Anatomy kicks off its 14th season in the US on Thursday with a two-hour event and the first footage from it is finally here.
The new trailer gives you your first look at Abigail Spencer (Timeless) as Megan Hunt. She replaces Bridget Regan who played the role previously.
At the end of the 13th season, Megan was found alive and transported back to the US. Owen (Kevin McKidd) and Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) raced to be at her side and Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) had the unfortunate job of telling Nathan (Martin Henderson) that Megan was still alive, potentially ending their short relationship.

The promo shows scenes of Megan asking Nathan if he met anyone significant and she questions Meredith about who she is. Anyone shipping Meredith and Nathan should be worried as returning character Teddy (Kim Raver) is seen warning Meredith to step away from their relationship.
Other storylines hinted at include a love triangle with Jackson (Jesse Williams), Maggie (Kelly McCreary) and April (Sarah Drew), a possible reunion for Jo (Camilla Luddington) and Alex (Justin Chambers), and chaos after the hospital is rebuilt following the explosion at the end of last season.
There’s no confirmed return date for Grey’s Anatomy in the UK yet but it shouldn’t be too long after the premiere in the US next week.
