Liv (Rose McIver) was forced to disguise herself as a human after her face was plastered all over the papers.
She also faced personal problems when she consumed the brain of Ravi’s (Rahul Kohli) former boss Katty (Christina Cox) and became unable to resist picking men up for one night stands in a bar. Her new found urges led her to cheat on Justin (Tongayi Chirisa) with Chase (Jason Dohring).
After doing the deed with Chase, Liv realised he may have had a hand in Katty’s death. Katty had been interviewing witnesses about what she thought was a flu outbreak.
Meanwhile Major (Robert Buckley) helped Liv sedate and freeze Harley (Andrew Caldwell). He was also fired from Fillmore Graves after Chase discovered that he was really a human. Down in the dumps, Major was delighted when Natalie (Brooke Lyons) returned the two made plans to go away together.
That was cut short when Harley was freed and he detonated an explosive vest in the middle of Major’s leaving party presumably killing Natalie in the process.
The season finale is Looking for Mr Goodbrain Part 2. Liv uncovers a shocking truth that has far-reaching consequences; a reeling Major looks to the future; Clive gets closure; Blaine makes a business proposal.
