Norwegian black comedy Hellfjord arrives on Walter Presents on 7th July 2017.

Written and directed by Tommy Wirkola (Dead Snow, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters), Hellfjord stars Zahid Ali, Stig Frode Henriksen, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal and Thomas Hanzon.

Mounted Police Sergeant Nesbit Salmander (Zahid Ali) is dismissed from the Oslo police force after accidentally killing his police horse in front of thousands of children at the Independence Day parade… and becoming public enemy number one. While he serves his notice period, Salmander’s captain banishes him to the tiny fishing community of Hellfjord in the far north of Norway, a local place full of local people where 100% of the population smokes, the average age is 67, and 60% of the town is employed at the Hellfish processing factory.

As Salmander scratches the surface of this small-minded hermitage, with the help of journalist Johanne and his freakishly, unkempt not-so-helpful new deputy Kobba (played by Dead Snow co-writer Stig Frode Henrikson), he discovers a fishy secret that threatens to turn Hellfjord upside down.

Hellfjord was filmed in the real-life fishing village of Gryllefjord. The full boxset will be released on 7th July with all seven 30 minute episodes being made available at once.
