Alex (Justin Chambers) crossed the line once again during the latest episode of Grey’s Anatomy.

A young boy kept bringing himself to Grey Sloan asking for medical help. Steph (Jerrika Hinton) and Alex took on his case and when the boy’s parents arrived, they found out they were deeply religious and didn’t believe in medical treatment. Despite being warned, the parents chose to take their son and Steph and Alex were pulled to one side by Minnick (Marika Dominczyk) for their behaviour.

The boy returned to the hospital and Alex convinced Steph to lie so they could operate on the him without his parents’ consent. Minnick wasn’t convinced by their story and she got Steph suspended and sent to counselling after witnessing her throwing a tablet device at the boy’s father in rage.

Meanwhile Ben (Jason George) became concerned about his future when Richard (James Pickens Jr) told him that he was being too safe as a doctor and suppressing his talents.
