C2C: Country to Country 2017 was a fantastic weekend full of music and with just under a year to go, we’re already counting down to C2C 2018.

Every year the festival delivers some of the best performers from the world of Country music and for many Country fans in the UK, it’s a chance to see acts they’ve loved for years, live in concert for the very first time.

The festival lineup isn’t expected to be revealed until the autumn but that hasn’t stopped us having a think about who could be on the bill. We’ve had a think about he acts we’d love to see perform that have never been part of the C2C lineup before.

Keep reading to find out the 10 acts we’d love to see performing in 2018!

10. Chris Lane

Rising star Chris Lane is making all the right moves since the release of his fantastic debut single Fix. He’s one of the most promising and charismatic new stars in the genre and he has a falsetto that helps him stand out from the crowd. he’d certainly bring a combination of charisma, great songs and good looks to the C2C Main Stage.

9. Brett Young

Sleep Without You is just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Brett Young’s music. The singer-songwriter is quickly establishing himself as a solid entertainer and his songs are from the heart. He mixes contemporary Country with killer vocals and he’d be a huge hit at C2C without a doubt.

8. Kelsea Ballerini

Alongside Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini is one of the newer female artists really making an impact in Country music. With the hits Love Me Like You Mean It, Dibs, Peter Pan and Yeah Boy under her belt, along with her cracking album The First Time, Kelsea is a star who is about to become a global sensation. Surely it’s time for her to make her C2C debut?

7. Jake Owen

He may not have his long locks anymore (we’re still weeping over that haircut) but Jake Owen released some of his best material to date with last year’s American Love. Not only is he super talented, he’s also smoking hot and a seasoned live performer. Please Jake, do it for us!

6. Jon Pardi

Jon Pardi is having a very successful time of it at the moment, having just scooped an ACM Award. His blend of traditional and contemporary Country is one that is leading a resurgence of a more traditional sound returning to Country radio. California Sunrise was one of the best records of 2016 and we can only imagine the reaction a sold-out O2 Arena would have when singing along to Head Over Boots.

5. Brett Eldredge

Brett Eldredge toured the UK in 2016 but he’s not yet been part of C2C. It seems a little odd as Brett’s good buddy Thomas Rhett has surely told him what a fantastic event it is following his own appearance last year. Brett is such a good showman and his live performances are always incredible. He also has a bit more soul than your average Country artist!

4. Josh Turner

C2C has been criticised in more recent years for not having enough ‘traditional’ Country music on offer, particularly on the Main Stage. Someone that could rectify that, and appease fans of all kinds of Country music, is Josh Turner. His album Deep South has just been released and we reckon he would be a popular choice to perform on the Main Stage.

3. Faith Hill

Her husband, Tim McGraw, has already headlined C2C so why doesn’t Faith Hill come over and do it too? She may not have recorded new music in ages (c’mon Faith, where’s the new album?) but she is an absolute legend. With a voice more powerful that Shania Twain and so many hits to her name, Faith would deliver a killer headline set.

2. Keith Urban

He was strongly rumoured to be performing this year but sadly it didn’t happen. Keith Urban has toured in the UK numerous times and there’s no doubt in our mind that he could sellout a tour without being part of C2C. Having said that he would fit so perfectly into the bill and we know he’s a crowdpleaser in terms of a live artist. Add to that his extensive catalogue of hits and his set would be legendary.

1. Shania Twain

C2C 2017 lacked a really big ‘wow’ headliner. Don’t get us wrong, the headliners we had – Zac Brown Band, Reba McEntire and Brad Paisley – were pretty special but with two of those three having already headlined before, it did feel a little bit like a letdown. Someone who could rectify that in 2018 is Shania Twain! She has a new record coming out and what better way to make her live return to the UK? There is talk of her retiring from live performing but we hope she does a headline C2C set first.

C2C: Country to Country 2018 will take place at The O2 Arena in London from 9th to 11th March 2018. Who would you like to see perform?
