Cyrus (Jeff Perry) saw the White House slip from his grasp on the latest episode of Scandal.
Through a series of flashbacks it was revealed that Cyrus had continued his affair with Tom (Brian Letscher) despite being married to Michael (Matthew Del Negro). It transpired that Tom continued to act for Cyrus first taking out Frankie’s (Ricardo Chavira) aide Jennifer Fields (Chelsea Kurtz) by giving her a sever beating and then by shooting Frankie on election night to enable Cyrus to become President.
In the present day Cyrus met with Tom with the intention of killing him but the tables were turned when Tom found the gun. Pointing it at Cyrus’ head, Tom decided to walk away but he soon turned himself in and confessed to killing Frankie claiming he did so on Cyrus’ orders.
Cyrus was arrested for the murder of Frankie leaving the White House open for Mellie (Bellamy Young).
The next episode of the season is The Belt. Cyrus faces his ultimate challenge but continues to stop at nothing to prove his innocence. Meanwhile, Olivia and the gladiators uncover shocking new evidence about the night Frankie was shot,
