On the latest episode of Elementary, Sherlock (Jonny Lee Miller) and Watson (Lucy Liu) had to investigate the death of a man killed by eating poisoned sausage.
Close inspection of the content of his stomach revealed that the sausage that killed him contained human remains. Sherlock’s keen sense of smell helped them identify the shop that made the sausage.
At the shop Sherlock found evidence on the rear steps, some hair and skin. Analysis of this led them to identify the man who was killed. He was a genius who worked in the artificial meat industry.

Elsewhere in the episode, Watson worried that Sherlock wasn’t going to his rehab meetings. Sherlock assured her that he was but after following him she discovered that he was doing other activities.
Confronting Sherlock he finally admitted that he was bored with them and was dealing with it in his own way. Watson insisted the importance of the meetings and left him much to think about.
At the end of the episode, Sherlock again went to a meeting. There he forced himself to participate and he confessed to the observations that Watson had given him.
The next episode is It Serves You Right to Suffer. When Shinwell comes to Holmes and Watson for help after he’s framed for a gang killing, they have three days to find the real murderer before he is arrested and sent back to jail.
