2017 is already shaping up to be a better year than 2016 and what more could we want this year than a new track from Sam Hunt?

The singer-songwriter is working on the follow-up to his multi-platinum debut album Montevallo and the first fruits of his labour is new track Drinkin’ Too Much. The song utilises Sam’s trademark mix of speak-singing on the verses as he delivers an apology to girlfriend (now fiancee?) Hannah Lee Fowler, who was the subject of many of the songs on Montevallo.

Sam has released the track on SoundCloud in two versions – the studio version and an acoustic version.

The song is sure to whip up anticipation for Sam’s new record, which is expected to arrive at some point this year. Based on this track he’s set to get even bigger than he already is!
