Top 3 Strictly Come Dancing 2016 semi-final performances

Strictly Come Dancing 2016 served up one hell of a semi-final last night as the four remaining couples danced twice over the course of the evening.

The leaderboard was so close that it’s near impossible to predict who will be leaving the competition during tonight’s results show.

I’ve reviewed all of the performances from last night and as always I’m don’t necessarily take into account what the judges have to say. Keep reading to find out who made my top 3…

3. Ore Oduba and Joanne Clifton – Argentine Tango

Ore fought hard last night for this place in the competition. Before last night’s live show I thought Ore could be in danger this weekend but I’m pretty sure he’ll sail through to the final after his amazing performance. Ore’s Argentine Tango was the stronger of the two and he wowed.

2. Danny Mac and Oti Mabuse – Salsa

Danny wowed with both of his routines last night. It was hard to pick between them so I’ve started with his Salsa. I thought it was an amazing performance and on par with Samba from a few weeks back. He soars in the Latin and Oti has done an incredible job with him this series.

1. Danny Mac and Oti Mabuse – American Smooth

As much as I loved his Salsa, for me it was all about Danny’s breath-taking American Smooth last night. What a magnificent dance and the choreography was absolutely stunning. I still think he’s going to win the series!
