The 6 chair challenge arrives tonight on The X Factor 2016 and one contestant who is grabbing the opportunity with both hands is James Hughes.
Competing for a place in the final six Boys, James channels his inner Tina Turner with a rousing rendition of Proud Mary. He works the stage like a pro before making his way to the judges’ desk where he dances with mentor Nicole Scherzinger.
He also finds the time to throw in some of Tina’s finest dance moves as he impresses the judges not only with his vocals, but also his energy. Will his performance secure him a seat though?
We’ll be surprised if it doesn’t. If nothing else, his enthusiasm shines through during his energetic performance.
