Sky Cinema Star Trek launches

To prepare for the new upcoming movie Star Trek Beyond, Sky Cinema have launched a dedicated Star Trek channel.

Boldly going on a two-week mission to bring you the finest movie hours of the Starship Enterprise and all its crews, you can beam them up on-demand or on Sky channel 304.

Movies that make up the Sky Cinema Star Trek channel are;

Star Trek: The Motion Picture

A decade after the end of their TV mission, ‘Admiral’ Kirk reassembles his trusty original crew for an epic movie reunion.

Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan

An old enemy returns with a vengeance in a five-star sci-fi extravaganza that always strikes a chord with both Trekkers and less boldly-goers alike.

Star Trek III: The Search for Spock

Following Spock’s sacrifice “for the good of the many”, Kirk and his ever-loyal crew go on an unauthorised mission to bring him home.

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home

The crew of the Enterprise touch down in ’80s San Francisco to save the world – and the whales – in their most fun-filled mission to date.

Star Trek V: The Final Frontier

William Shatner leads the crew on both sides of the camera on a revelatory quest that could prove the existence of God.

Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country

A conspiracy to destroy peace in the galaxy presents the original Enterprise crew with a very tricky last mission. Succeed or not, it’s a fitting farewell.

Star Trek: Generations

The first movie outing for ‘The Next Generation’ sees Patrick Stewart’s Captain Picard join forces with his predecessor to defeat a deranged scientist.

Star Trek: First Contact

Picard and the new crew go on an exhilarating ride through time and space to defeat the Federation’s deadliest enemy: the merciless Borg.

Star Trek: Insurrection

The crew of the Enterprise show their rebellious streak as Picard defies orders to defend a special planet from galactic marauders.

Star Trek: Nemesis

Picard faces a double crisis as intergalactic peace talks are sabotaged by his own evil clone (played by a young Tom Hardy). Luckily, his crew are right behind him.

Star Trek (2009)

Sci-fi king JJ Abrams reboots the Enterprise with a cool origins story that reintroduces the original characters with a fresh cast and a dazzling visual upgrade.
