Jonathan Antoine is heading into the studio this month to start work on his second solo album.

The classically trained tenor who first rose to fame on Britain’s Got Talent as part of duo Jonathan & Charlotte, is scheduled to release the new album in August 2016. It will be a collection of much-loved favourites and new original Arias.

Speaking about recording the album Jonathan said, “Recording an album is unlike anything else that I do, it is more intense and yet more relaxed than live singing. As nervous as I am to be putting this album on record forever, I am equally excited to try and make each song the best possible performance I can.”

Jonathan’s new album is the follow-up to his 2014 solo debut Tenore, which topped the Official Classical Album Charts and stayed there for 3 weeks. The achievement made his the youngest ever tenor to have a Classical number 1 album.

The new album is sure to build on Jonathan’s remarkable success and will further showcase his incredible talents.
