Festival no.6 adds Irvine Welsh and Paul Foot to the bill

Festival No. 6 has revealed further details to its line-up in 2016 and its biggest arts and culture programme yet. The latest additions to 2016’s line-up include Irvine Welsh, Shaun Ryder, Simon Armitage, John Cooper Clarke, Cassius, Paul Foot, DBC Pierre, Miranda Sawyer and Tim Burgess with lots more to be added.

The award winning festival is back for its fifth year and culture programme will this year include appearances from Irvine Welsh, the author of the million-selling book and movie, Trainspotting. Also on the bill, will be Dr John Cooper Clarke after popular demand.
