The penultimate episode of The Walking Dead’s sixth season definitely had us asking WTF?! as the credits rolled.
The final scene saw Daryl (Norman Reedus) seemingly killed when he tried to rescue Glenn (Steven Yeun), Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Rosita (Christian Serratos) from Dwight’s (Austin Amelio) clutches. Obviously we highly doubt that Daryl is dead as the fan backlash from that twist would quite possibly be too much for the show to overcome.
Elsewhere in the episode Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Morgan (Lennie James) went in search of Carol (Melissa McBride) after she fled from Alexandria. What they didn’t know is that Carol had claimed victory in a shoot off with the Saviors but ran when she realised one of her almost-captors was still alive.
The season finale is Last Day on Earth. Rick and the group must go outside the walls to save one of their own. What they experience on the road will change their lives forever.
