Charlie Worsham promises his new album is on the way

Singer-songwriter Charlie Worsham has performed several times this weekend over the course of C2C: Country to Country. Today he took the time to sit down with the press and talk about his music and career.

When asked the status of his forthcoming second album Worsham said, ā€˜Itā€™s more of a grown-up feel and a lot of us was recorded live. There were four of us in the room together. I did not think about fitting in when I wrote the songs. This record isnā€™t diluted. The last record was a cocktail and this record is a shot.ā€™

For the record he’s been working with producer Frank Liddell and he revealed, ā€˜You laugh a great deal (with Frank). The great takeaway from Frank is that he pulled me out of place of no confidence to having confidence. He took a year and dealt with me between the years.ā€™

Talking about his beginnings Worsham said, ā€˜I always knew I wanted to live in Nashville. We visited many times when I was growing up.ā€™

He also talked about his appearance on TV show Bones, which scored him a number 1 on iTunes in the UK, ā€˜A couple of years ago I got to have a guest appearance on the TV show Bones. They used some of my songs and my song Love Donā€™t Die Easy was played at the end of the show.ā€™

Worsham will be opening for Frankie Ballard on his UK tour, which kicks off this week.

Charlie Worsham has been performing as part of C2C: Country to Country at The O2 Arena in London.
