C2C: Country to Country 2016 Day 2 main stage preview

The first day of C2C: Country to Country was packed with lots of action including blistering main stage performances including Thomas Rhett and Miranda Lambert.

Today is even more action-packed as the pop-up stages really kick into action and even more acts take to the main stage. Everything kicks off a little earlier today so we’ve rounded up all of the timings you need to know so you don’t miss anything.

Keep reading to find out who is performing and when…

Main stage

17.00 Maddie & Tae

The duo will be performing in support of their superb debut album Start Here. Maddie & Tae rose to fame with their smash Girl in a Country Song, and they are part of the female revolution fighting to get more women on Country radio. They will be opening the main stage today and it promises to be a must-see set.

18.10 Sam Hunt

Last year Sam Hunt caused mass hysteria when he performed on the pop-up stages and on the Satellite Stage. This year he’ll be taking to the main stage for a full set so expect to hear the majority (if not all) of his huge album Montevallo. Knowing Sam he’ll perform some covers and tracks he’s written for other artists too.

19.25 Little Big Town

They kicked things off last year at the C2C 2016 launch and today’s performance will mark their second main stage C2C appearance. Little Big Town have been enjoying huge success with their most recent album Pain Killer and their single Girl Crush. Expect tight harmonies, lots of energy and superb vocals.

21.05 Carrie Underwood

The reigning Queen of Country music will return to C2C today for her second headline set. Carrie Underwood performed at the first ever C2C and she was such a hit that she’s back! Currently on the road with her Storyteller tour in the US, Carrie will deliver a hits packed set with selections from her latest album.

Yamaha Music Stage

17.40 High Valley

The Canadian duo High Valley are one of the acts we’re most intrigued to see. The brothers have enjoyed success with their infectious hit Make You Mine, and we can’t wait to see what else they have up their sleeve. They will be on the Yamaha Music Stage straight after Maddie & Tae’s main stage performance.

19.00 Maren Morris

If you haven’t heard about Maren Morris then you must be living under a rock. The singer-songwriter is being hailed as the next big Country artist and her single My Church has blown up in the US. She recently announced that she was hitting the road with Keith Urban and Brett Eldredge so seeing her play an acoustic set should be a real treat.

C2C: Country to Country takes place this weekend (Friday 11th ā€“ Sunday 13th March) at The O2 Arena in London. For more information head over to www.c2c-countrytocountry.com
