Reworked Wagner in The Rinse Cycle

Award-winning Unexpected Opera present an entertaining take on Wagner’s masterpiece, in a comic adaptation in English.

Premiering at Charing Cross Theatre this month, The Rinse Cycle shrinks four operas and sixteen hours of music into two hours through one easily digestible sitting. Unexpected Opera’s Artistic Director Lynn Binstock said: “As well as conveying the crucial elements of the story and offering an experience of Wagner’s music at a high level of quality, I’d like to give the audience some feel for the magnitude, richness, intellectual reach, complexity and sheer awesomeness of the Ring and its composer.”

The Rinse Cycle is at Charing Cross Theatre until Saturday 12th March; Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm and Wednesday and Saturday at 2.30pm. Tickets cost £12.50 to £25.00. Book online at charingcrosstheatre.co.uk or call the Box Office on 08444 930 650.
