Better Call Saul returned to our screens this week as the adventures of everyone’s favourite slippery lawyer continued.

The season picked up where season one left off as Jimmy (Bob Odenkirk) turned down the job opportunity that Kim (Rhea Seehorn) organised for him. He decided to quit his career as a lawyer and return to his former con-man ways. During drinks with Kim, Jimmy encouraged her to play along with him while he conned an investment banker and the rush they got from it led to them sleeping together.

When Kim didn’t return his calls, Jimmy decided against quitting the law and decided to take up the job offer after all. Elsewhere in the episode Mike (Jonathan Banks) was sacked by his client who was promptly screwed over by Nacho (Michael Mando).

The next episode of the season is Cobbler. To keep a potentially messy situation from unraveling, Mike brokers a deal. Jimmy works to exonerate an eccentric client.
