Former Westlife star Markus Feehily has released the music video for his new single Sanctuary.
The song, due for release on 11th March, is the third to be taken from Markus’ debut album Fire. Sanctuary features a sample from Clannad’s Theme From Harry’s Game and is described a stripped back electro-soul track featuring a gospel choir.
Fire, released last year, was the first solo music Markus released after Westlife disbanded. He recorded the set in Los Angeles and worked with producers and writers including Mojam (Emeli Sandé, Sam Smith), Jim Eliot (Ellie Goulding ‘Anything Can Happen’, Sigma, Ella Henderson, Olly Murs), Jakwob (Kyla La Grange, Little Simz) & Nexus (Lana Del Rey, Hurts).
Markus will support Wet Wet Wet on tour starting later this month. You can see him at the following dates:
