Nashville’s Charles Esten confirmed for Country to Country 2016

Charles Esten, star of ABC’s hit TV musical drama Nashville, has been announced as the final performer for the Yamaha Music Stage at Country to Country 2016.

The stage, previously known as the Satellite Stage, is located inside the main arena at The O2 in London and acts perform between the main stage artists. Esten will perform on Friday 11th March 2016 and as previously announced he will be part of the CMA Songwriters Series on Thursday 10th March 2016 at Indigo at The O2.

Esten is best-known for playing the role of Deacon Claybourne on Nashville. He has performed at the Grand Ole Opry, the historic Ryman Auditorium, and Bluebird CafƩ, and headlined the St. Jude Country Music Marathon Concert at the Bridgestone Arena.

The actor and musician made his stage debut in London, portraying Buddy Holly in the hit West End musical Buddy. In that role he performed for both The Queen at the Royal Variety Performance and the first President George Bush at the White House.

Last summer Esten released his first independent single, Hot One.
