Following last nights performances on jukebox week it was really hard to guess who would be the next contestant to leave the competition. This year in particular the talent is so strong making the public’s decision harder and harder every week. The four judges Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Rita Ora, Nick Grimshaw were all there to support their contestants except for Simon who no longer has any remaining contestants in his overs category.
In the bottom two and singing for a place in the semi-final this week were 4th Impact and Lauren Murray. 4th Impact showed off their vocals as they poured with emotion whilst singing Jennifer Hudson’s song And I am Telling You. Their performance was probably one of the best we’ve seen the girl do so far.
Lauren Murray kept her smile as she got on stage and belted out Mariah Carey’s huge track Vision of Love and boy was it amazing. Lauren hit all of those big notes and did so with so much passion. We loved
Both Cheryl and Rita congratulated both the acts on stage but remained faithful to their contestants. Nick decided to send 4th Impact home, which meant that Simon had the hard task of picking who would go through but instead let it go to deadlock. This meant that it was the end of the road for 4th Impact.
4th Impact got raving reviews from the judges last night and have been consistently good throughout the competition but with as good a talent as there has been this year it is very hard to know who will be voted out each week and no one is safe.
The X Factor 2015 semi finals start next Saturday on ITV.
