Alesha Dixon will release her new album Do It For Love on 9th October 2015 it has been announced.
The Britain’s Got Talent judge made a return to music earlier this year with the release of new single The Way We Are. The album will be available to pre-order first via an exclusive direct-to-fan pre-order via Alesha’s own store from today (Friday 7th August).
Talking about the album Alesha says, “This record is uplifting, fun and honest. ‘Do It For Love’ is the heart and soul of who I am and what I believe in. It’s a personal triumph and a moment I have waited a long time for.”
Alesha has taken control on Do It For Love getting involved with the recording process as well as co-writing the album. She has worked with Alex James, Harry Sommerdahl and Da Beat Freakz, as well as Wretch 32 on track Stop.
Do It For Love is the follow-up to 2010’s The Entertainer. Alesha has been in the music industry for over 15 years and has three platinum-selling albums and nine UK Top 10 singles to her name. Do It For Love will be released independently on her own label Precious Stone Records (Absolute/Sony DADC) and sees her returning to her musical roots.
