Blue have confirmed the release of new single King of the World, the first to be taken from their new album.
King of the World will be released on 2nd March and it marks a new musical direction for the group. The song has a soulful feel with lead vocals from group member Simon Webbe and a feel-good beat.
Following the release of the single Blue will hit the road for a UK headline tour which will see them play 16 dates starting in Portsmouth. 2015 marks 16 years since the formation of Blue and the group still has a strong fanbase behind them.
Talking about how long Blue have been together Simon says, “Sixteen years later and we are still evolving as a band. We’re proud of that. Music binds myself, Lee, Duncan and Anthony together, it means everything to us.”
Duncan adds, “A new TV show, album and tour mean that we are all looking forward to 2015. It’s looking to be a great year and we are excited to share our newest chapter with the fans.”
