2015 Oscar nominations: see the full list

The nominations for the 87th Academy Awards aka the Oscars have been announced.

Directors Alfonso CuarĆ³n and J.J. Abrams unveiled the technical categories and Chris Pine and Academy president Cheryl Boone Isaacs announced the major categories. Leading the pack this year is The Grand Budapest Hotel and Birdman which each received 9 nominations.

Following them is The Imitation Game with 8 nominations and American Sniper and Boyhood which each picked up six nominations.

The 2015 Oscars will be held on 22 February from the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Centre, Los Angeles.
