Claire (Julie Bowen) and Phil (Ty Burrell) were horrified when their new neighbours moved in on the latest episode of Modern Family.
After finding the perfect couple, Claire and Phil scared them away by being overly enthusiastic with them. That meant that the other buyers for the house got it leaving the Dunphys unhappy.
Elsewhere in the episode Manny’s (Rico Rodriguez) new girlfriend turned out to be Jay’s (Ed O’Neill) former business partner’s grand-daughter, and Cam (Eric Stonestreet) and Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) upset Lily (Aubrey Anderson-Emmons) when they took her out of her class after thinking her teacher was mean.
The next episode of the season is Halloween 3: AwesomeLand. Halloween may be Claire’s favourite holiday, but, this year, she passes the baton on to Phil – regretfully. Jay, meanwhile, grows attached to his costume.
