Stereo Kicks

Stereo Kicks appeared on ITV’s This Morning to discuss their exit from the competition with presenter Amanda Holden.

The 8-piece boyband were eliminated from the competition last night after losing the sing-off to Lauren Platt. Talking about how they feel band member Casey said, “I’m gutted and we’re devastated but at the end of the day we’ve got to pick ourselves up and just carry on. Obviously we gave everything at the weekend, we didn’t want to go out. We wanted to get to the final and we started believing after being in the bottom two twice and we came back and were doing better performances… but I think we did do well but in our eyes we wanted to win.”

Talking about their journey from solo artists, Charlie said, “It’s incredible how far we’ve come. If someone has told me when I auditioned as a solo artist that you’d make it to be quarter finals and be in the final five I would have laughed in your face!”

Speaking of the competition on this years X Factor, Chris said, “This year it’s so unpredictable, this year there are so many people that are so talented. This is the best year [of talent] that X Factor have had in a long time.”

The boys revealed that they didn’t think judge Cheryl Fernandez Versini was their biggest fan. Jake said, “I don’t think Cheryl’s been our biggest fan since the start to be honest, so it was always going to be hard when it came to that situation, especially going against Lauren.”
