On the 7th live show of this years competition the band Only The Young were ousted with the least votes, which came a surprise to most.
The band sang Something About The Way You Look Tonight by Elton John and were actually one of the strong acts of the evening but as the competition gets tougher Only The Young weren’t able to keep their place on the show. The band impressed the judges during their first appearance on the show but divided them over the course of the competition with weak vocals and a lack of stage presence. However Simon thought that tonights performance was the band’s best and wanted them to stay in the competition. Louis as the band’s mentor said that Only The Young deserved a record deal and hoped they would get one soon.
David Guetta and Emeli Sandy performed their song What I did For Love in the evening.
