A new photo has been released from the upcoming Doctor Who Christmas special.
The picture features the Doctor (Peter Capaldi) and Santa Claus (Nick Frost) and has been released days ahead of the first preview of the Christmas Special which will air during Friday night’s Children In Need.
The latest series of Doctor Who came to a close last weekend as the Doctor and Clara (Jenna Coleman) battled the Cybermen once again. Fans will have to wait until Christmas Day to see the Christmas Special but the preview during Friday’s Children In Need appeal should prove to be very satisfying.
The Doctor Who Christmas special is written by Steven Moffat and directed by Paul Wilmshurst and will also star Natalie Gumede, Michael Troughton, Faye Marsay and Nathan McMullen.
Children In Need airs at 7.30pm on BBC One this Friday.
